Paris the French capital is the most popular city among tourists, also it is known as the city of love. You can get in Paris by plane, train, car or bus. Charles de Gaulle International Airport is the biggest airport in the country it has a RER-B line terminal; from here, you can take the famous French TGV high-speed train. There are different transportation means therefore finding your way in the city is not very complicated.
You should buy a Carte Musées et Monuments; a prepaid card that permits you to entry into over 70 museums, it is quite cheap.There is a large number of unique landmarks you have to visit. You can start with the Eifel tower and continue with the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral an imposing Gothic cathedral, Chateau de Versailles and the famous Catacombs. The Luvru museum is probably the best museum in the world but it will take more than a day to see the entire museum, anyway it is imperative to visit because there isn’t another museum that can compare with it. In addition, you should take you time to visit the Picasso museum and the Centre Georges Pompidou the museum of modern art. You will not regret it.
If you are looking for a place to party all night long you can go to the Marais, Bastille or Quartier Latin – Odeon, these zones are renowned for their nightlife. You should also go to the famous Moulin Rouge to enjoy a night of cancan champagne and dinner. You don’t have to worry about food because French cuisine is renowned as one of the best if mot the best cuisine in the world and Paris is filled with wonderful restaurants.
There many hotels in Paris so you can find accommodation easily but you must know that prices differ from season to season. During summer, spring and Christmas prices are higher.
