Named after the strawberry fields which were laid out on the steep south facing slope of Mineshop Valley years ago, this is a modern one storey cottage. It is cut back into the hillside and overlooking the woodland beyond the stream.

One double bedded room, one family room with family room with double bed and 6'2" x 3'0" two tier bunk beds. One twin bedded room.

With bath, W.C. and and hand basin

Large L shaped sitting/ding room with open fireplace. 2 storage heaters, colour television. Fitted kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, microwave.

Doors open out of the sitting room on to a Cornish slate terrace with garden table and chairs. Car parking

A shared laundry room is available. Duvets, blankets and pillows are supplied. BED LINEN and or towels can be supplied at no extra cost (towels extra cost) COTS & MATTRESSES (without bedding) are available at no extra cost, please reserve when booking)

The Mineshop cottages are in the parish of St Gennys, just a short drive from Millook. It lies on a dramatic and spectacular stretch of coast between Bude and Boscastle, an area designated as of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is within the Heritage Coastal Belt. From Mineshop, a footpath lesds through the wooded valley to Crackington Haven, 1 mile away — 1.5 miles by road. Here there is a sandy surfing beach.
