Dating from the 17th century, it was indeed the cottage of the shepherd of the historic Bottreaux Estate. It is detached and situated on a narrow quiet lane with the nearest neighbours being Home farm, a couple of hundred yards away.

One on the ground floor (ideal for those who finds a stairs a challenge) with two single beds, two bedrooms upstairs, one with single bed and optional cot, the other with one double bed.

Equipped with bath/shower

Open fire (burns wood or coal) TV / Video, comfy armchairs.

Dishwasher, microwave, oven with four electric hobs & Fridge

Garden with garden table / chairs.

Nearest village is Boscastle. Boscastle has many pubs / restaurants. There are few local shops selling essential food supplies.

Beaches, country houses, golf, riding, cliff walks are amongst things to do whilst you stay here.

Bed linen is provided, but towels are not. Heating is provided by a wood burning stove, or by electric night storage heaters.
