The cottages were originally built as the himes of workers in the slate quarries in the nineteenth century. They are situated overlooking the Camel estuary between the bustling market town of Wadebridge and the picturesque old fishing village of Padstow. Both places can be reached in approximately ten minutes by car.

One with two single beds, the other with one double bed.

Equipped with bath / shower & washing machine.

Wood burning stove, TV, Hi-Fi, four armchairs.

Dishwasher, microwave, Oven with four electric hobs, fridge.

Garden and patio

Nearest village is Wadesbridge (approx 10 minutes away by car) . It has many pubs / restaurants. Outside Wadesbridge is a Tesco supermarket.

Amongst the many things to do are: golf, riding, country houses and beaches.

Electricity is not included — there is a coin meter there that takes GBP 1 pound coins.
Heating is provided by a wood burning stove or by electric night storage heaters.
Bed linen is provided, but towels are not.
