Conat village offers an abundance of stunning walks, or if you wish to venture further this area is best known for its long hot summers, its coastline (1hrs drive), and Ski slopes (also 1hr), its history & its wines. With plenty of sunshine each year the lakes and hotsprings nearby are ideal for a days swimming. Steeped in history there are plenty of ancient abbeys, grottos & walled villages to explore. The Spanish border is just over an hour’s drive.
