Nestling in a valley approximately half way between Taunton and Minehead, STOGUMBER lies to the west of the Quantocks and within two miles of the eastern boundary of the Exmoor National Park.

On both sides of the comfortable double bed are single drawer units with freestanding bedside lamps. A clock/radio is provided.There is also a chest of three drawers with a small mirror, double wardrobe (plenty of coathangers), a full length wall mirror and an electric fan heater. A small hairdryer is provided and there are two folding chairs that may be taken out to use on picnics.

It has a washbasin, WC, bath with shower over it. An electric shaver socket and light if fitted over the basin. Also included are an electric wall heater and heated towel rail. An iron and ironing board are located in a corner cupboard.

The front door leads into the spacious sitting/dining room, consisting of a dining table and two chairs, together with a two seater settee and one armchair. A colour TV, radio with CD and cassette player, coffee table, standard lamp with wall lights and a central light over the dining table complete the furnishings. The room is heated by two night storage heaters.

The kitchen has been newly fitted and is fully equipped with a good selection of kitchen equipment and utensils. — Electric oven with grill and 4 ring hob. Microwave oven, Fridge/freezer, electric toaster.

The self contained cottage adjoining the owner's home with all the accommodation at ground level. An ideal retreat for a couple wanting comfortable and cosy accommodation, the cottage was recently completely refurbished to a high standard in a tasteful country style.

There is off street parking provided for one car and the secluded garden is split into 3 levels. It offers delightful views of the village and the Quantock Hills. Adjacent to the cottage is a small patio area with table and chairs. A BBQ is available upon request.

Stogumber offers the White Horse Inn, Central Stores and Post Office and Church. It is within a 10 minute walk of the cottage.

The nearest coastline is 5 miles to the north at Watchet. It is the ideal location for beachcombers and country walkers alike. On the edge of Stogumber you can take a train on the West Somerset Steam Railway running from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead. It runs for 20 miles and is the longest privately run and owned steam railway in the country. There are National Trust or English Heritage properties within easy driving distance. At Dunster you will find Dunster Castle. For the garden lover, Taunton's lovely Hestercombe Gardens are approximately 16 miles away. With a host of good pubs and tea rooms serving competively priced meals of excellent quality, Somerset also caters for discerning lovers of good food.

All bedding, towels and tea towels, heating and hot water are included in the price.
DOGS: Well behaved dog(s) are welcome by prior arrangement.
