A very spacious light and airy house in a quiet location, with garden and terrace overlooking the sea and the Islas Medas, as well as the 18th century castle that dominates the town. Centrally heated and double glazed with an open fire, the house is ideal for winter or summer, when the well maintained shared pool comes into its own. 10 minutes away is the heart of Begur, the Plaza de Villa, with its "Long Stone" ledge seat which has been the meeting place for local people for over 300 years.

Fully equipped kitchen including a large fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave, access to the utility room with washing machine and butler's sink.

There are views of the sea and the Islas Medas that can be enjoyed from the garden, which has some shady areas with oak and cork trees. Steps lead down to the communal pool.
Local Information
The town of Begur in the Costa Brava lies around 150 kms North of Barcelona and some 40 kms due East of Girona.
Begur is a chic and bustling ancient town and only a few minutes drive from some delightful beaches such as Sa Tuna, described as one of the prettiest beaches in the Costa Brava and Sa Riera — the largest.
Nearby are parts of the Cami de Ronda, a long distance coastal walk made up of old coastguards' and farmers' trails.
The Costa Brava features many tiny coves, some of which are only accessible on foot or by sea.
Leisure Facilities
As well as many attractive shops, restaurants and bars, the town offers art galleries, a weekly market and a small sports centre for tennis. The championship golf course at Pals is only 6 kms away. On summer evenings the local people gather to dance Sardanas, their traditional Catalan folk dance, in the Plaza de Villa. Organised night life is 6 kms away at Palafrugell.
