(This provides a 4th bedroom if your party has 8 /10 guests) Patio doors lead to round naya, (Outside undercover dining area where barbecue is located) There is a washing machine in a separate laundry room, dishwasher.

Outdoors
Beautiful private gardens surrounded by woodlands with a swimming pool. The B&B is located a short distance from the sea and shops. Shaded secure parking within property. Because of its privacy and location it is a Natural paradise.

Local Area
The B&B is situated, on the peninsula overlooking Javea Port in the Montgo National park.
(It is the closest point to the Island of Ibiza, which can be seen on a clear day from the headland.)

There are a lot of quiet and spectacular walks from the villa, one of which leads to the nearby lighthouse and winds its way down to Javea Port. There is another walk to the 13th century windmills with views of the Jalon Valley, the mountains that surround it and the bay, the path then leads to Javea Pueblo (Old town). For mountain enthusiasts there is a vigorous climb up the Montgo (750 metres). There is a golf course about 4 miles away, horse riding, and of course for children there is Terra Mittica, which is Spain’s answer to Disney, around 45 mins drive. There are several beaches the closest is one and a half miles. The closest restaurant is within a mile, but of course there are a huge selection down in Javea Port (one and a half miles).

Kitchen

Self-catering units within main kitchen include microwave,induction hob, fridge, kettle, shared dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker. All cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. A barbecue is also available to guests.
A great alternative to villa or apartment rental with so many more facilities at your disposal.

Other Rooms

The outside naya is often used for dining and entertaining. It is situated close to the swimming pool so it also doubles as a changing area. The gardens are located in different areas around the house. The pool area is paved and is for sunbathing, the garden directly behind the master bedroom is often used for dining and entertaining. The terrace leading from the master bedroom is shaded. The large garden to the front of the property has many fruit trees and provides natural shade. The gardens are pretty and are professionally maintained. From February 2008 the swimming pool will be heated, (Ideal for half term B&B) or villa rental at Easter. Wireless LAN internet access new for our guests in 2008, just bring you laptop and connection receiver. In colder months we have electric central heating and in warm weather large cooling fans. (Because of our insulation and excellent air flow air conditioning is unneccessary.) The Spa area is very private and there is a large Canadian hot tub and sauna. A variety of spa treatments are on offer such as shiatsu, reflexology and massage treatments. Also Dead sea skin treatments

Cleaning & Linen

Linen and towels are provided changed daily. Towels are provided for use inside the B&B only. Clients should bring their own beach and swimming towels.

Greenwood Villa is available for bed and breakfast and from 2009 a self catering facility for guests who are looking for a more economical holiday. Facilities as above including a Jacuzzi hot tub, sauna, heated swimming pool, boules, darts, barbecues and roaring log fires, mountain bike hire available. Good food from an award winning chef, country, cliff top and mountain walks. Golf 6 kms. Sea 5 mins. Our double rooms have en suites, all rooms have tea and coffee making facilities with complementary supplies, small bar fridge, TV & DVD with a library of films to choose from. 2 TV Lounges with satelite TV in several languages inc. Sky TV (English)and Spanish and German TV. WIFI Internet for your laptop also use of guest house computer

Distances

Airports we are situated mid way between Alicante and Valencia so the choice is yours. Javea Port is just 5 minutes away. Denia is 7 kms. Javea Arenal 10 minutes Golf course 6 Kms.

Local Information

The area was at one time dominated by a monastary. Terraces where the monks grew crops are still visible today in the woodland that surrounds the property. A short walk away are mills which were constructed in the 13th century and used for the grinding of corn. There are many species of wildflowers growing locally that are not to be found elsewhere. There are many fiestas throughout the year including bull running, carnivals, street dancing, fireworks, pageants and all the colour of a typical Spanish town .
