All the accommodation is spacious, luxurious, airy and well fitted in a traditional Portuguese style with much of the furniture actually being hand carved. TV is also provided.

These Villas, Apartments, Suites and Bungalows are situated in a small private complex with wonderful sea views, in fact virtually on the cliff top and is very quiet. The complex is a credit to the management and is extremely well kept with beautiful gardens everywhere and the views from all of the properties are stunning. As well as the private swimming pools that come with the villas there is also a large resort pool with a diving board, a pool which is heated, a kiddies pool and a splash pool for infants. Beside the pool is a nice Bistro and coffee bar again with a fabulous sea view. Two tennis courts across the road can be booked for a small hourly fee.
Some interesting further Information:
The bungalows and apartments are called "As Velas", the "Sailing ships", and they are named after the ships which took the great Portuguese seafarers to the far continents: Sao Raphael, Sao Gabriel. Catrinata, Berrio and Anunciado. The terraces offer a wide unobstructed sea view; along the coastline until Sagres, the most south-westerly point of Europe, and over the Atlantic ocean.
The Portuguese called their great discoverers OS NAVEGADORES: Pedro Alvares Cabral, Fernao Magalhaes, Frey Goncalo Velho, Bartolomeu Dias, Gil Eanes. The five fabulous and dreamlike villas in CARVOEIRO PARQUE are named after these famous Portuguese navigators. Only few steps from the picturesque rocky coastline, each villa offers you a breathtaking view over the ocean.

In Carvoeiro Parque a large pool with diving board, a heated pool and a number of sundeck terraces inviting you to relax. Children have their own separate pool, and there is also a tiny splash puddle for the very young ones. The Bistro Bar offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
Sport: if you are active in sport, then riding stables, golf courses and tennis courts are at your doorstep. For sea worshippers , there is sailing, surfing, water skiing, diving and deep sea fishing or, if heights do not bother you, fishing from high cliffs around Carvoeiro.
Golf: Special arrangements also with a number of Algarve golf courses.
Fun things to do — a few suggestions:
· Boat trip along the coast and into the grottoes. Excursions can last from a few hours to full days.
· Visiting local markets — apart from the daily fruit, vegetable and fish market, the main market day is during one day of the month. Almost everything is sold there.
· Bull fights — weekly during summer. One bullring is in Albufeira, the other (smaller one) in Lagos.
· Waterparks — open from April until October. Two are in the vicinity.
· Zoomarine — with shows, rides and lots of things to do.
· Excursions to Sagres, Lagos, Silves, Monchique, Loulé, Alte, Almansil, Estoi and Faro.
· Day tours to Lisbon, Fatima, Seville

The apartments Sao Rafael and Sao Gabriel are named after two of the ships that sailed with Vasco da Gama when he discovered the passage to India in 1497.
Generous decor, individual design and beautiful sea views are the main features of these apartments. Two cosy studios are located on the first floor. The T1 apartments consist of a spacious living room and a separate bedroom. The T2 apartments with two bedrooms and two bathrooms offer ample space for 4 persons. The studios and all apartments have a separate, furnished kitchen and a terrace or balcony. The largest apartment has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, enough space for 6 persons.

The Berrios and Anunciadas bungalows are located within the complex, in front row right above the pool area and the garden. They consist of a generously laid-out living room, two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom/shower, seperate kitchen, covered and open terrace and roof terrace.
Bungalows "Os Peixes"
The six bungalows "Os Peixes" — the fishes — offer plenty of space for two to three persons with a large living- / dining room, one bedroom, bathroom, separate kitchen, as well as a covered and open terrace. They are located about 300 meters from Carvoeiro Parque, on the cliff above the ocean, with marvellous sea views. There are also 8 bungalows with two bedrooms and two bathrooms located above the pool area.
The Catrineta is a ship from the Portuguese mythology. Dreamlike are also the Catrineta suites.
Individually designed with one bedroom, bathroom, separate large kitchen, very spacious living and dining room, and terraces or balconies. Each one of them has fabulous sea views.

Cleaning & Linen

There is a regular maid service and all linens and towels are included ……all you need to bring is a beach towel. Although washing machines are not provided with the accommodation there is a laundry service available on-site which can be organised through the maid

The resort has 3 pools at your disposal….including a kiddies pool and a heated pool. The poolside Bistro serves snacks in the day and meals at night.
