Outside
Villa Usmar is part of a select development of only 6 villas which share a pool set in lush landscaped gardens. The villa has terraces and patios some of which have pergole to provide shady areas for dining.
Further Details
There are small markets in the village of Gundogan and also 3 large supermarkets on the road between Gundogan and Yalikavak. There is also the weekly market in Gundogan on Wednesdays when you can buy locally produced fruit, vegetables, honey, spices, cheese, clothes and household goods. There are 3 pharmacies in the village, all with English speaking staff and several doctors. There are also a couple of internet cafes in the village should you need to check your mail. There is a post office offering cheap international phone calls and also phone booths where you can use a phone card.
Distances
The village itself is only 1 km from the villa and Bodrum is only 15-20 minutes by car. It is also easily accessible by public transport with the dolmus from Gundogan. Taxis are plentiful and cheap in Turkey and are metered.

Leisure Facilities
Gundogan is a centre for watersports and the offshore breezes here are unique on the Bodrum Peninsula. In the village there is a sailing school offering small yacht sailing and windsurfing. The beach in Gundogan is one of the longest on the Peninsula and was awarded Blue Flag status. Horse-riding is also available nearby with trekking through the woods near Torba. There is a waterpark with numerous slides in Ortakent which is only 15 minutes by car from the villa. In Bodrum itself there are diving schools and a number of diving centres.
Booking Notes
A deposit of 100 GBP is required at time of booking to secure the villa. The balance is due no later than 6 weeks before departure. At this time a breakages/damages deposit of 150 GBP is also payable. This will be returned to you after you have vacated the villa and returned the keys.
