Lovely detached refurbished former croft, conveniently situated on the Malt Whisky/Castle Trails. No nearby neighbours, but not isolated - fully equipped and furnished with modern facilities - dishwasher, washer/drier, digital TV etc. Large and airy rooms - 1 Kingsize ensuite , 2 x twin rooms (extra bed if required). 10 minutes drive to the historic Cathedral city of Elgin, 2 minutes to Rothes, 10 minutes to Aberlour -all with adequate shopping, banks and leisure facilities. A very popular Trout Fishery at the Glen of Rothes is within a mile of the cottage. There is an abundance of great golf courses within a half hour drive - the nearest at Rothes - only 2 minutes away. A 20 minute drive to the lovely sandy beaches at Lossiemouth or Findhorn. Lots of famous factory tours - Baxters of Speyside, Walkers (Shortbread) of Aberlour. Elgin has a fully equipped leisure centre with ice-skating, swimming, saunas and solarium. Tennis, gokarts, indoor 10pin bowling stadium - lots to do!

One Kingsize bedroom with ensuite massage shower, with fitted wardrobes, bedside units, lamps, TV 2 x twin bedrooms (one with extra bed if required), fitted wardrobes, storage, lamps, TV/video in one twin room. Duvets, bedlinen etc. supplied.

Bathroom with bath and shower over. Toilet and washbasin. All towels, toiletrolls, soap etc. supplied.

Duvets, linen, ample supply of towels (except beach), tea towels etc. Cleaning between lets.
Accomodation Notes
The cottage is heated by electric panel heaters, which is included in the weekly rental rates, except between 1st October and 1st April when a £30 weekly surcharge is applicable
Outside
Two fully enclosed garden areas which are 'safe' for children or pets — 1 deerfenced of about .3 of an acre. Outdoor furniture, garden bench, BBQ, 5 acres of rough land to walk/explore.

Rothes town has all the basic amenity shops required — mini supermarket, home bakery, butcher, PO, takeaways, hotels with restaurant etc.
Local Information
Castles and distilleries galore — all with visitor receptions, Historic Elgin boasts the ruins of Elgin Cathedral, and Scotland's only Biblical Gardens — a must see. Dolphin and whale boat trips from nearby Speybay Wildlife Centre and from Lossiemouth harbour. Famous factory tours (Baxters, Johnstons (Cashmere), Walkers (Shortbread))
