Delightful refurbished accommodation in the heart of the Medina in Marrakesh.(Maroc) The accommodation is an ideal place to stay if you are looking for a property to buy or simply visiting this wonderful city. Our Riad is located in the heart of the old Medina in Marrakech, just behind the famous and magic square Jemaa El Fna.We have only 4 rooms,(each of them for 2 persons) of which 2 have a double bed and the other 2 have separate single beds. Every room has a bathroom & toilet. The rooms are located around an open air patio, we have a Salon with a fireplace and a Terrace at the roof.

An open plan seating area is on the ground fllor with a banana tree growing up to the open roof. On the first floor you will find the very comfortble salon with log fire for winter.

Getting to Marrakech: There is an international airport close by also the Train stations with connections to Casablanca (airport close by), The capital Rabat and a bus service.

Superb roof gardren — ideal for breakfast and taking evening meals prepared in the house.
Further Details
We serve lunch, (5-10 euro pp) and diner, (15 euro pp) only on demand. We sometimes organise workshops for traditional Moroccain plastering or Moroccain cuisine for which we can forward you the details on demand. Summertime; July/August/September can be very warm, so we provide fans in every room. November/December/January/February can be very cold, mostly evenings and at night. Cold winds fall down on Marrakech from the snowy mountains sometimes. But most of the time it's comfortable in the sunshine during the day. We put traditional moroccan fire-pots in the rooms to get the worst cold out, and there are small hallogeen heaters in every room for a little extra warmth.
Local Information
The main area to visit is The Medina. Here the broad open Space of Djemaa el Fna lies right in the heart of it. Anything of interest will be found in the netwoork of small streets at the north and south of the square. To the west of Djemaa el Fna is the Kouttoubia mosque. The Djemaa el Fna is a market during the day, but at night mobile restaurants move in, snake charmers and storytellers. The small streets off the square form part of the Souks.

Reservations can be made by e-mail or phone. We check on availability and reply asap. For reservations on a short term we'd like a confirmation within 2 days, on a longer term within a week. Once everything is confirmed, we'd like an advance payment of 50 % in euro, and we will forward you the details for payment.
