Set in the tranquil village of Fosse , nestling in the foothills of the Pyrenees , approx 40 miles west of Perpignan. Orchard studio is a comfortable and well equipped holiday home for 2 people. It has a private west facing garden with patio , BBQ and garden furniture , and is only a few minutes walk from the open-air village pool and tennis court. Fosse is in the heart of the stunning Fenouilledes , a major wine producing area and a short drive from the amazingly well preserved Cathar castles . It is set in an ideal location for thoes who wish to escape and enjoy the simple pleasures of life , but close enough for thoes who want more activities.

Bedrooms
Comfortable double bed with bed side tables and lamps. There is a wardrobe , drawers and radiator. Also available is a hairdryer , iron and ironing board. The 2 windows look out to the south over open garden and countryside
Bathrooms
The shower room has a walk-in shower with , a wash basin with a mirror and shelves and a toilet . There is also a heated towel rail .
Living Rooms
The living room has a 2 seater sofa with 2 arm chairs , a cd/radio/cassette player , books , local maps and information and a log burning stove for out of season use ( oct — apr )
Kitchen
The kitchen is well equipped and has a 4 burner gas hob , electric oven , a fridge with small freezer , extractor fan , electric kettle and coffee pot. Ample equipment for holiday needs . The dining table and chairs are opposite
Cleaning & Linen
Bed linen and towels are included in the price , as is heating and logs during winter months. Please bring your own beach towels There is a washing machine for use free of charge.

Further Details
The bread van delivers to Fosse every wed and sat , but the village of Caudies ( 10 mins by car )has a small supermarket ,a bread shop , butchers , paper shop , chemist and a bar / restaurant , The nearest banks and petrol stations are at St Paul ( 15 mins by car ) Perpignan is approx 50 mins by car and has all the excitement of a cosmopolitan city
Local Information
There are many activities to keep you busy .e.g, White water rafting , Horse riding , Swimming , Canoeing and Rock climbing. The stunning Cathar Castles are not far away and are always worth a visit , as is the Gorge de Galamus , the working Roman aquaduct and a visit to one of the many wine " caves " for a pre purchase taste. Many of the surrounding villages have weekly open-air markets , a great place to mix with the locals.
Leisure Facilities
The village open-air pool is normally open July and August , 6 afternoons a week from 2.30 — 7pm There is also a tennis court in the village. The busy Mediterranean resorts and beaches are approx 1 hr drive Ski resorts are approx 50 mins drive . Fosse is surrounded by open and unspoiled countryside , ideal for walking and bird watching or simply relaxing in the garden

25% deposit is required to secure your booking. Balance 6 weeks prior to travel.
Changeover day
Normally saturday but we will be flexible if possible. Arrival after 2pm Departure before 10.30am
Current Availability
Available all year for summer sun and winter ski. We also offer winter short breaks . Minimum of 3 nts @ £35 per night Long winter lets are available from October — March @ £120 per week including electricity and logs for the wood burner
