Small comfortable apartment in a good easy accessable area. Wall heating and fans for the summer. Good for beaches and local attractions .Ideal for couples and children.
Outside
Pool on the 4th floor,Shared with apartments,usable from May to September,not heated. Balcony has table and chairs. Bus stop to town opposite apartments. 10min drive up the road to A8 motorway. 10 min walk to shops and train station.
Further Details
Shops are a mixture of supermarkets and gift shops. Fish and veg market everyday in the old town.Good fresh food till 1pm. Restaurants range from A la Carte to quick snacks. Banks are in the main town and open Tuesday to Friday. Closed between 12.30 and 2.30 as most shops close for lunch.
Local Information
Menton is a pretty town with excellent amenities. Originally part of Italy it has a variety of French and Italian style buildings. Restaurants are good and excellent value for money. Beaches are sandy and stoney but all are clean and looked after well. The town has a casino and nightclub.Each year in February thay have a lemon fest which is beautiful and a must to see. Gorbio and Castellar are medieval villages and beautiful to see,and over look the town. Ventimilia in Italy(15mins by car) 25 mins from train station has a market every Friday and has a variety of clothes,food,shoes,bags,belts,linen ect.

Beaches and swimming pools nearby. Close to Garavan Harbour and fishing area. Excellent location for resaurants and shops of all types. Driving distance to Gorbio and Castellar medieval villages. Excellent bus servic around the town and the train station is a 10min walk from the apartment.
