La Pleiade is a newly constructed apartment building completed in November 2006. It is centrally located, just 200m from the main town square ( Place du General de Gaulle). The apartment benefits from double glazing and air conditioning and is located on the 5th floor(with lift) and overlooks the garden. Antibes Old Town, with its narrow streets, provencal market and abundance of restaurants and shops is a five minute walk from La Pleiade, whilst the nearest supermarket/bakery is only 50m away.The promenade and beaches of Antibes and the resort of Juan Les Pins are only a short 10 minute stroll away. Situated in the heart of the town there is easy access to the buses and trains.

The master bedroom has a double bed with a matching range of rich wooden furniture which gives the room a genuine 'provencal' feel. The second bedroom has an ornate black metal double bed with matching bedside tables. Both are supplied with excellent quality linen and accessories.

The bathroom has a vanity unit, electric socket and a full sized bath fitted with a modern shower attachment, and a range of modern storage furniture. There is a separate wc.

The lounge is very comfortable, with the latest style sofa, which also converts into a double bed. It has a flat screen TV, which receives English TV and radio channels, DVD and stereo. There is a range of high quality modern furniture in the lounge, including a dining table and chairs. The patio doors lead onto to the balcony.

There is a modern fitted kitchen, including a washing machine, large fridge-freezer, latest design electric oven and hob, coffee machine and modern utensils.

Bed linen is included in the price. Towels are available as an optional extra of £12.50 per person per week. Linen is changed weekly. The apartment is presented clean and tidy and must be left in the same condition. If required an end of stay clean can be arranged at a small cost. Please ask for details.

The apartment benefits from reversible air conditioning/heating and is double glazed throughout. Only suitable for non smokers.

The good sized private balcony which overlooks the garden, includes outdoor seating, a table and lighting and benefits from the sun late morning to early evening during the summer.

Within easy walking distance are the many boutiques, restaurants, pavement cafes and bars, markets and small shops selling a wide variety of local produce and authentic crafts. The well stocked supermarket is within a 2 minutes walk.

Antibes- 16th century Fort Carre, Picasso museum, Provencal market, Port Vauban the largest marina in Europe, art galleries and studios. Close by Marineland and Aquasplash. Juan les Pins- A lively resort with many bars, beach restaurants boutiques and superb beaches. Cannes- Film Festival, Old Port and the Old Town, Designer shops galore. Nice- Promenade des Anglais, museums, bars and restaurants.

Swimming, diving, golf ( golfing packages can be arranged ), cycling, walking, watersports of all types. Easy 5 to 10 minute walk to the sandy beaches with showers which are cleaned daily.
