Guests' privacy is of paramount importance. Glyntawel Cottage is warm, cosy and welcoming at all times of the year and is thoughtfully equipped to a high standard for up to six people. It is enjoyed by couples wanting solitude, families of all ages (often described as a children's paradise) and groups wanting a base for an activity holiday. It is set in a typical Welsh smallholding and is approached along a 400m drive bordered by fields grazed by cattle in summer and bridge a stream — the Nant Fothau. Large areas are left ungrazed and uncut to encourage insects, butterflies, small mammals and birds. From late winter there are carpets of snowdrops and daffodils, with abundant wild flowers in spring and summer and various wild orchids in banks, fields and marsh with hedges of laburnum. Guests are free to wander all 25 acres.
