Bedrooms

In each of the villas, you will find on the first floor the two larger double bedrooms with, a double bed, wardrobe two bedside tables, and a medium size mirror on the wall, over a separate dressing table and stool. Both the main bedrooms have ceiling fans and air-conditioning for your comfort. The main double room has a room safe securely installed for your use. Both the main bedrooms have a patio door which opens onto small balconies over looking the pool/garden area. There is one smaller single room, on this floor, facing the car park, which is to the back of the properties; this is full furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, one bed-side table, and a medium size mirror at the wall, over a separate dressing table and stool. This smaller single room has a ceiling fan, but no air-conditioning.

Bathrooms

On this first floor you will also find the bathroom, which has an enclosed shower unit and toilet with basin and bidet.

Living Rooms

On this level, in the lounge area, there is also a floor fan, and a traditional hand-made sofa-couch and an armchair, plus a coffee table. You are provided with a TV, playing local Broadcasting TV Channels, for your use throughout your stay with us.

Kitchen

On the lower level there is a large lounge/dining area and separate kitchen, with an array of kitchen utensils, microwave and family sized fridge freezer.

Other Rooms

At Sandycove Villas, we can offer you two types of accommodation. We have seven duplex villas for larger groups of up to five and one studio suitable for couples. Each boutique style villa is equipped for self catering and there is air conditioning provided on site for your comfort. We can also provide you with a safe for your peace of mind, although we charge a small (refundable) deposit for the key. The villas are located in a very quiet rural area of Mauritius. All the villas share access to a communal swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views. Sun loungers are available for use on request, for use around the swimming pool area. The complex has ample parking for hire cars to the rear of the property with the villas, conveniently situated in the tourist region of Flic en Flac where there are local car hire companies nearby to cater for all your travel needs. The beach is less than a 2 minute short walk from Sandycove Villas and the local bus stop provides comprehensive links to the rest of the island. Villa No 1-7 The first four villas can be found in a block of four adjoining terrace properties each consisting of two floors with three separate bedrooms. The next four villas can be found in a separate block of four adjoining properties consisting of three villas and one studio villa. The formations of the villas are in an L-shape around the main swimming pool and garden area. In the two main blocks, in each of the villas, you will find on the first floor the two larger double bedrooms with, a double bed, wardrobe two bedside tables, and a medium size mirror on the wall, over a separate dressing table and stool. Opposite the Kitchen there is a separate downstairs toilet, and the front door to the villa leading to access to the car park. This villa has a large patio-verandah leading to the main swimming pool area. All patio-verandah areas have a roof over them in order to keep the veranda cool, and shaded. Each villa is fully furnished with garden furniture for your use, during your stay.

Cleaning & Linen

All villas are provided with: A refreshment welcome pack on arrival. Fresh towels and linen. Twice weekly maid service. Iron and Ironing board are available on request. Airport transfers available on request. Breakfast and Dinner delivery service on request. Car rental services available on request.

The complex has ample parking for hire cars and as the villas are situated in the tourist region of Flic en Flac there are local car hire companies nearby. The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views. There is an outdoor shower for your use before using the swimming pool area. Also surrounding the pool there is a shaded seating and eating area with sun loungers for your use during your stay with Sandycove Villas.

Further Details

Public transport is provided by a number of local (private run) bus companies throughout the island. An Express bus service is available from Port –Luis (the Capital) to the North, South and to the main inland towns. Taxis are available for hire. Bookings for car hire can be made on arrival at SSR international airport, or alternatively at the one of the many tour operators in Flic en Flac. Competition between the various operators is keen and it is, therefore, advisable to shop around before hiring. The surrounding areas of Flic-en-Flac provide you with all the local facilities you will need to make your holiday more pleasurable. Should you wish to venture out of Sandycove Villas, you will find a variety of banks, restaurants, bar, nightclubs, cyber-cafes and car rental offices all on our door step. The nearby luxurious hotels offer you excellent five star cuisine and for those who prefer the thrilling atmosphere of gambling the casinos are open until the early hours of the morning

Leisure Facilities

Sandycove Villas can be found on the west coast of Mauritius. Situated on one of the island's most popular beaches, Flic-en-Flac is a 2 minute walk from the complex. The white beaches of the Flic-en-Flac stretch for more than a mile long and offer a diver's paradise for those looking for a little more adventure or a slice of heaven for those who want to relax and sunbathe.

Booking Notes

We are happy to accept credit card bookings, but there is a booking fee and can arrange to have cheque/transfers as well. The minimum deposit is one night’s accommodation to hold the property until 8 weeks before your arrival date. We then require full payment of rental period paid 8 weeks in advance of your arrival. There is also an additional £100 breakages deposit, which will be returned to you no later than 3 weeks after your departure.

Changeover day

As there are several villas available, we have flexible arrival and departure policy. We also do have a changeover apartment for guests use, if necessary.
