Three self catering cottages, located adjacent to one another. The cottages are located in an elevated position overlooking the beautiful Severn Valley. each cottage has been recently refurbished (Jan 2007), and the price is inclusive of electricity, heating, linen and towels. The largest cottage Cedar sleeps a maximum of 5, Beech cottage sleeps 4 and the smallest cottage Oak sleeps 2. The area is ideal for walking, cycling, birdwatching or just relaxing in the cottage garden. The cottages are just 3 miles from the historic 16th Century market town of Llanidloes, here there are numerous pubs and places to eat. The cottages are within easy reach of the Elan Valley and the historic town of Machynlleth, which is just a 19 mile car journey via the mountain road. The beautiful coastal town of Aberdovey with its sandy beaches is just 32 miles from Llanidloes, making them an ideal base for exploring the beauty that Mid Wales has to offer without the crowds.

Guests are advised there are three seperate cottages, although group booking up to 11 can be accepted, please contact us for details.

All beds are made up for guests upon arrival. All towels and tea cloths provided. Linen is changed weekly or on request.

The cottages are situated in an elevated position overlooking the beautiful Severn Valley. The area is very peaceful and is ideal if you are looking for a relaxing break. There is a seperate room that houses a shared washing machine and freezer. In addition there is a resource room that has sweets and crisps for sale, local preserves and chutneys, book, games and binoculars and a wide range of information leaflets available to guests.

Not suitable for wheelchair users because of elevated location.

There is a shared cottage garden, with free use of a barbeque and garden furniture. The garden overlooks the Severn Valley and is ideal to relax in and enjoy the views.

The local town of Llanidloes (3 miles) has banks, a couple of restaurants, several pubs, takeaways, two supermarkets, two butchers, organic shops, a weekly market (Saturdays) and several other shops all located within walking distance of one another in the town.

The cottages are situated 3 miles from the market town of Llanidloes, Powys and makes an ideal base for discovering the unspolit scenery of mid Wales and yet within easy reach by car to the coastal towns of Aberystwyth, Borth, Aberdovey and more. The Elan Valley is within easy reah by car and has plenty of beautiful walks beside the Lakes and Dam. The Hafren Forest is just 4.5 miles from the cottages, and again makes for fantastic walking and cycling. The historic town of Machynlleth is reached by an unforgetable drive over the mountain road, and guests can find a bargain at the weekly Wednesday market. In summary the area of one of peace and unspoilt natural beauty.

A 25% deposit is required at time of booking. Full payment is due 4 weeks before arrival, by cheque, paypal or for those overseas guests our International Bank account details will be given on request. Arrival time from 2pm, departure by 10am (negotiable upon arrival)

Saturday changeover between July 21st and August 31st. Outside these periods short breaks are also available, please contact us for details.
