Bedrooms

The lovely large sunny bedroom has twin beds and built in wardrobes with plenty of hanging space and shelves. A large traditional shuttered window opens onto the quiet courtyard area filling the room with sunshine — but being in a courtyard no noise from the bustling busy streets of Cannes. We have a cot available for babies on request.

Bathrooms

There is a pretty, modern shower room and a separate toilet.

Living Rooms

The living room contains a comfortable sofa bed, chairs and a stereo system. The living area is separate from the kitchen and is therefore fairly private for anyone wishing to use it as a bedroom.

Kitchen

The kitchen is bright and sunny with the door and windows opening onto the terrace. The modern, well equipped kitchen includes a ceramic hob, eye level oven, dishwasher and double fridge freezer along with all the usual items such as kettle toaster etc. There are two small tables which can be used individually or easily pushed together to seat four people.

Cleaning & Linen

It is important to us that our apartment is spotlesssly clean for your arrival. Beds are dressed with fresh linen and clean towels are provided for each guest prior to your arrival. On your departure the apartment is checked and cleaned once again.

Accomodation Notes

Children are welcome and we have a cot available on request. The apartment is accessed from the street via two gates and some steps. Whilst being unsuitable for wheelchair users it is not too difficult for pushchairs to get in and out. The terrace is safe for children as it is on ground level and has a fence/gate. The apartment has electric central heating radiators although the Cote d'Azur boasts over 300 days of sunshine per year so rarely used. Your arrival and departure could not be easier if you are planning on using the efficient modern public transport system here on the Cote d’Azur. The non stop coach runs direct from the bus terminal at Nice airport every half hour. The apartment is just a short two minute walk from the coach station in Cannes.

Outside

The good sized terrace is south facing, it has a fence surrounding it and is accessed via a gate from the courtyard. There is a table and chairs on the terrace for dining or just relaxing with a drink after a long day out and about.

Further Details

The apartment is also well located to visit the many varied restaurants Cannes has to offer — approximately 100 of them, all within a few minutes walk. Pay a visit to one of the many chic restaurants along the Croisette or wander through the winding streets of Le Suquet and choose from the vast array of small restaurants with tables overflowing into the narrow streets.

Local Information

There are plenty of boulangeries or cafes for that essential morning croissant not to mention any other type of shop you can imagine, from clothes and shoes to fresh flowers and fruit, Cannes has it all — for all budgets. There are many museums, historical sites, galleries in the area. Cannes is an ideal location for touring the Cote D'Azur area — there are boat trips to Monaco, St Tropez and to the islands of Lerins where the 'Man in the Iron Mask' was held prisoner for eleven years. You can get the bus or train and visit many towns along the coast including Antibes with its wonderful old town, Juan Le Pins with it's amazing beach or Monaco with it's luxury marina.

Leisure Facilities

The beach is just a 2 minute walk from the apartment along Quai Saint Pierre, the Palais des Festivals is a 6 minute stroll from the apartment so it is ideally located for the world famous film festival and congress such as MIPIM, MICOM, Cannes Lions etc. There is plenty to do in Cannes including shopping, sun bathing, swimming, water skiing — and of course more shopping! — there are also several golf courses near Cannes. The area next to the port has a lovely market square beneath the trees where you can pay a visit to the regular art/craft/antiques art fair every weekend, or just sit and relax in the sunshine and watch a game of boules.

Booking Notes

We require 50% of the payment on booking to secure the dates you have requested. One month prior to your arrival the final payment should be made and we will send you an information pack. At this time we will also require a fully refundable 100 Euro security deposit. This will be returned to you immediately once the apartment has been checked and you have returned the keys. Payment can be accepted either in Euros or UK Sterling, either by cheque or bank transfer
