Named after a rare Lefkas flower, Villa Arenaria nestles in a lush, tranquil setting among olive trees. Built using local stone and tastefully furnished to a very high standard, and as a stand-alone villa, benefits from a secluded position on the outskirts of Agia Marina village. The nearest beach is just five hundred metres away as well as a range of bars, restaurants and nightlife in the resort centre. Traditionally styled, this villa has an exquisite feel and an interior designed with lots of attention to detail. Enter through to the cosy living area, stepping down into the joint kitchen/dining area, which is amply equipped with modern conveniences. The villa has two bedrooms and two shower rooms (one en suite). Outside there is a sun terrace and small, well maintained garden with a big-sized swimming pool, sunloungers and parasols.

Living Rooms

Arenaria is a ground floor villa of 120 m˛ total floor area with another 20 m˛ of terrace space that extends out of the living room. It has two bedrooms with refined and high quality furniture, each with its own bathroom and digital television. The dining room which has views to the swimming-pool is linked to a tasteful and fully equipped kitchen which, in turn, is separated from the living room by a stunning wooden partition, a distinctive element of Lefkadian architecture. Further along, one can find the living room of the villa which features two couches, one of which has three seats and extends to form a king size bed, an armchair and a large stool. There is also a 32 inch digital TV with satellite and DVD player. Large glass doors lead the way out to what feels like a continuation of the house, a terrace with swimming pool views where one can find a big wrought-iron table with seating for 6-8 persons...

Resort:Aghios Ioannis (Lefkas) Aghios Ioannis beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Lefkas and the closest to the capital on the island. It can get very windy here making it a favourite among windsurfers and kite surfers. The capital Lefkas Town is a 2 kilometres away and all the amenities of the mainland are just over the bridge. Agia Marina is located within a suburb of the town. Distance from airport approximately 24 kilometres

Local Information

Highlights of Lefkas Below the central mountains, Lefkas is a pretty verdant island with hundreds of blue beehives scattered amongst the pastures and fertile farmlands. The east coast offers calm waters sheltered by the mainland, and the mainland itself is accessed via a swing bridge out of the island capital, Lefkas Town. This opens up the attractions of the mainland for those who stay here. Lefkas Town offers some unique colourful architecture and nightlife, as does the resort Nidri. Just offshore, there are a few scenic islets scattered around the coast, one of which is Skorpios, the privately owned island of the Onassis family. The beautiful island of Lefkas has kept its authenticity and the natural environment is still relatively unspoilt drawing those in search of their own Greek Island paradise.
